Ken Marsh joins the EDGE team

EDGE-Global Technology Solutions welcomes Ken Marsh, Product Development Manager, to our team. Ken joins us with 19-years in the design technology world, with focus on the AEC Industry.  Ken started his career as a Structural Engineer, working for a firm in Maine and then moved on to work for Autodesk, at their Massachusetts office.  At Autodesk, Ken was a Sr. Revit Structure Quality Assurance Analyst, where he was responsible for leading feature test teams.  He also participated in conceptual design of new features as a Subject Matter Expert and Feature Lead Quality Assurance Analyst

 Ken is also a software engineering expert, and for the past 2 years he has been the Senior Software Developer on a large, custom, design and fabrication solution for precast concrete built on the Autodesk Revit API.  Ken has extensive programming experience utilizing Object Oriented Programming languages such as C#/.NET, C++, and the Autodesk Revit API.  He has developed web/database applications (including one built on the Autodesk Forge) utilizing JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and SQL.

 He is an international instructor for Revit Structure and Robot Structural Analysis; and he is a national instructor for Revit’s Dynamo Visual Programming environment.

 Ken is the author of Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional, versions 2013 thru 2016 – Essentials.

 

Personal

In Ken’s free time he does recreational and competitive sailing, he plays the acoustic guitar and continues to learn Mandarin Chinese.
